Queen Victoria Bicentenary Lettering

Categories:

Elegant, commemorative lettering for a Royal Mail and Royal Mint collectors’ edition celebrating Queen Victoria’s Bicentenary.

Overview

I worked with Common Curiosity to design the lettering for a limited-edition stamp and coin pack, created to mark Queen Victoria’s Bicentenary.

The packaging showcases six Special Stamps alongside an official Royal Mint Bicentenary £5 Coin.

Method

The lettering was crafted to reflect the grandeur of the Victorian era, complemented by decorative flourishes.

I incorporated floral elements symbolising the four nations of the UK – roses, daffodils, thistles, and shamrocks – woven into the design.

Outcome

A beautifully presented collectors’ item, uniting historic elegance with intricate detailing, making it a fitting tribute to Britain’s Victorian legacy.
